This is the “Jenn Went Bonkers In Sephora”, or “How Did Some Of These Examples Of Hideousness End Up On My Nails?” collection. I ended up buying the two Illamasqua polishes, ‘Bright as a Feather’, and ‘Sephora’. I vaguely regret not buying ‘I Found a Pot of Gold!’- those spots are diamond-shaped glitter!

This foil is SO BOSS HOLY SHIT. Looks orange from some angles, looks green from another angle, looks badass from anywhere.

From the Spots mani I saw a while ago, I decided to try my own version using some of the greens from my collection. Great dotting pen practice, it’s look better next time.

This colour is a lot more blue than this picture makes it look. I blame the crappy hotel lighting.

Yeah, that’s right, bitches- I bought Justin Beiber Collection nailpolish. IT’S SO AWFUL AAAAAUUUUGGGHHHH. In case it isn’t obvious, it’s big pink holographic hearts and pink microglitter in a clear base, and it makes everything look disgusting.

Two coats Rimmel London I ♥ Lasting Finish in Your Majesty, one coat OPI Turquoise Shatter. Nice!

Two coats Rokk96 ‘Backstage Pass’- a super super dark shimmery blue, looks black in most light- and one coat Rokk96 ‘Bejewelled’ holo glitter.

I like this colour, but a) it is an ARSE to apply evenly, as it streaks like a bastard unless you slap it on thick and b) once it is on thick, it pretty much just looks black. Hrrrrmrrrr. Still loving the holo glitter tho.

(this post blithely ignores my Hurly Burly Girlies nails, which were in fact glittery black, with extremely poorly applied silver polka dots. The gluggy silver polish responsible has been binned.)

Two coats Sally Hansen Quick Dry Nail Pen, one coat Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor in ‘Rainbows In The S-Kylie’.

My first trip into an American pharmacy was immensely fruitful! I turned up the Sally Hansen pen, which is terrible (the brush is WIDER than a normal bottle brush! SUPER MESSY.) and this horrimazing glitter. You know I would never rep something Kardashian-based if it wasn’t astonishing, and this is. Rainbows In The S-Kylie is a blend of three sizes of hex glitter in rainbow colours in a clear base. Slightly awkward to apply, but worth it. It looks like kindergarten craft hour threw up on my nails.
